It’s a mermaid book and if you like to read about these mythical beings, then maybe you might like to give this book a chance. That is if you don’t mind Chick lit style writing.
So far, I have found the heroines likeable, because of their independent nature. Not that I have anything against the rogues (included the reformed ones like earl in this one) roaming around. 😉 They are as interesting and charming as the heroines.
Only time I felt distress reading the book was when Polly’s father and Damon’s sister shows up. The duo is a perfect example of selfish, thoughtless and irresponsible people. Otherwise, I enjoyed reading the story.
I just loved reading ‘The Rogue Pirate’s Bride’ and didn’t feel even once that it’s part of a series. Which it is. Something that rarely pleases me to know that some book is a part of series, but happy to admit this one you can read without having read the previous books.
I’m disappointed in the series. So far not one of them has delivered on the romance. Lots of twists and turns, but no romance (sigh), the connection between the characters is missing in almost all these books.
